smiths hair wasnt even a consistent color for that 1k vs 1 fight wtf and dont get me started with how dumb the story was i bet by the 2nd game i wont want to see the ending and it will be like the matrix a train wreck money grab and it wont even be as fleshed out as the first visually and the actors will have cg stunt doubles who fight for them here and there. 10 to 1 theres alot of filler material and little in the way of a ending so you have to wait years to get the ending from the 3rd game. The first SINGLE PLAYER release that encompases any significant story elements whatsoever is the 1/14/14 release. Regarding the release date: originally Stoic had an overly ambitious release schedule, which is where that "early 2013" came from. With that being said, I've backed this game and religiously followed it since March 2012, and it would greatly pain me to not see the complete story come to fruition. The origins of the funding for this game were the founders of Stoic's savings, and they have been working for two years now without having any income I would wager that The Banner Saga (Chapter 1) has to be commercially successful to develop chapters 2 and 3. The details of what exactly will be required to continue the Saga have not beeen discussed (to my knowledge) with the community. The folks at Stoic have said that the complete story is already written, but the continuating of Chapters 2 and 3 are dependent on the success of the 1/14 release of The Banner Saga. Think, the original Star Wars movies - they each had a beginning, middle, and end, but then eluded to a much greater story arc in series. Stoic's complete vision is a 3 chapter saga that encompases three seperate, but complete stories, that tell a larger story as a whole.
